Facility Use Guidelines

Church Membership Fees:

 

Sanctuary: $100

Rental of the Sanctuary is payable when the date is reserved. (Fee includes the use of the sanctuary, lights, heat, air conditioning, and restrooms.)  The sanctuary and restrooms should be cleaned and returned to the state they were found in.

Fellowship Hall: $100

Rental of the Fellowship Hall is payable when the date is reserved.  (Restrooms are available, but other rooms in the church are not to be occupied. Trash should be removed to the dumpster outside, tables reset and cleaned, the floor mopped, and restrooms cleaned.

Non Church Membership Fees:

Fellowship Hall:

$150 Rental of the Fellowship Hall is payable when the date is reserved.  (Restrooms are available, but other rooms in the church are not to be occupied. Trash should be removed to the dumpster outside, tables reset and cleaned, the floor mopped, and restrooms cleaned.

If there are audio/visual needs for the event, the needs must be made clear on the application form. Depending on the needs of the event, there may be an additional charge required.

Fundraisers:

The use of the facility for fundraisers is potentially eligible for a discounted fee and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.  If you are hoping to use the facility for a fundraiser, please make sure you include that on the application form.

Guidelines for the Facility:

- All guidelines and policies for facility use are set in accordance with the Free Methodist Book Of Discipline (2023). 

- Absolutely no alcohol or drugs on the property.

- There is to be no smoking in the church building.

- There is to be no gambling on the church property. This includes any small games of chance.

- Users are responsible for costs incurred due to breakage or added custodial expense.

- Checks should be made payable to 'Kittanning Free Methodist Church"

- In the event that it is necessary to cancel the scheduled event, a full refund of the facility fee will be made for cancellations.

- Use of the facility for weddings or funerals must be scheduled through the pastor.

-The church reserves the right to deny an application or cancel a calendared activity if it is determined that there is an unreasonable level of risk or injury to persons or property or if the event stands in opposition to the mission and polity of the church. If the event is canceled the church will refund the money to the user. 

- Church ministries and activities take priority over all other uses for scheduling purposes.

- To use the heating or air conditioning, use the thermostats found at the entrance to the fellowship hall. Simply hit the button for temporarily occupied on the appropriately labeled thermostat to adjust to the needed temperature.
