Nerd Church
Nerd Church is all about celebrating the things that we love. In short, Nerd Church is an opportunity for people who love games, movies, books, T.V., video games and more to gather together for community and for spiritual conversations.

We meet every Tuesday from 6 pm - 9 pm. The doors open at 5:30 pm for set up. We gather to play board games and conversation from 6 pm - 8 pm. Then from 8:00 pm - 9 pm we ask questions and we have a respectful conversation about the topics. Also...we have a cereal bar.
What We Do at Nerd Church:
Take a look at what we do at Nerd Church. You should feel free to participate in as many levels as you feel comfortable. Do you just want to play games? Then come for a couple of hours and play some games. Do you just like cereal? That's cool. Stop by and grab a bowl of cereal. Do you like having Spiritual conversations, participating in events, or serving others? Then fell free to participate in whatever way makes sense to you.
Level 1:
This is for folks who simply want to come and play games. This is a safe place to play games, learn new games and build some community with folks who love the same things you do. Level 1 meets from 6 pm - 8 pm.
Level 2:
Level 2 is all about building community through having spiritual conversations about life and the world we live in. We typically have someone present a question or series of questions around a topic and facilitate conversation around the subject. We try to incorporate the things we are nerdy about into the conversations. This happens from 8 pm - 9 pm.
Level 3:
We call level 3 After Hours. It's an opportunity to build community through continued conversation or starting a brand new conversation at a local restaurant when things wrap up with Level 2.
Level 4:
We believe in the importance of serving others and at Nerd Church we want to help people serve others. We want to help you figure out what your passionate about and turn that into caring well for others. Whether that's helping to stock our Blessing Box, serving on a local Habitat for Humanity work day, or serving meals to folks in need at Connections of Armstrong County, we want to help you find a way to serve your community.
Level 5:
Level 5 consists of participating in fun events. We are planning video game tournaments, board game retreats, movie marathons, book discussion groups, local comic con events, and so more.
Level 6:
Level 6 is all about giving. Each week, we will take up a collection. A portion of what we give will go to help keep the lights on, keep us in cereal, and add new games to the collection. We will also use the remainder of what we collect to help support the work of Connections of Armstrong County.
